The game is set in Sharpwood, a cold and harsh border town riven with violence, and you play as young Sheriff Lilly Reed, who must maintain peace and order in the town while teaming up with fugitive criminal Jack Boyd. This game is a unique story-driven experience that combines elements of adventure, strategy, management, and turn-based tactical combat.

Your subordinates are not just resources, but real people with their own strengths, weaknesses, fears, and prejudices, and you will have to reckon with all of them to survive. You will need to show a steady hand if you want to impose discipline on the department. During your most dangerous operations, the game will switch to turn-based combat, and you will have to gather a team of your finest cops, adapt your plans, and use non-lethal weapons and equipment to take down the criminals. However, be careful, as This Is the Police 2 doesn’t have hit points, and a single bullet can cost a cop their life.
